Hello folks, I just wanted to ask if there is a way to find out if there is a way to determine if your HDD is bad before you do the long list of helpfull steps that I have found here.

I did do a CHKDSK but I must have screwed it up somehow.

I did them all and failed, but when I swapped out my HDD my system now hums with the life that it had before.

Thanks in advance
