Hi, i am new to the forum!
I have had some really weird crashes. I would be using my computer for about 2min then the window would suddenly stop responding, i would then try to open task manager, then everything gets worse and the machine totally crashes. I have noticed somthing though, when i turn off my computer it displays as if i had lots of programs running, when watching the video look at the very top of the screen where the task bar is, it shows lots of programs open when i click "restart". I think it to do with the ram, it is as if my computer is being over loaded and then freezes. Very simple actions make the computer freeze, for an example if i open the start button, or open a program.
My computer specs are:
Dell Inspiron 1545 Laptop
Ram: 3.00 GB
Windows Vista 32 bit
CPU type: Genuine Intel 1666 MHz
I have run UniBlue RegistyBooster 2011 and cleared all errors, i have defraged the hard drive and registry. I have used TuneUp with does pretty much everything, so i have optimized my computer but it still freezes. I think it may be something to do with a faulty hard drive. I somtimes get the error message where the computer cannot load up: "2000-0146", i have researched this and it says this is the failing of the hard drive, but i can still use my hard drive and it's still functional. I am thinking maybe my hard drive is slowly failing and soon it is just going to die
. Any way please can i have help because i am stuck, i have tried everything. Tomorrow i am getting a network hard drive to back up my data just in case, then i am going to reinstall the operating system and then see if that cures the problem. What should i do? Just watch the video and answer why it is showing so many programs when i restart the computer.
