Software Crash
Hello I need some help
I have had some problems lately with my system and the night before last my whole system went down the screen would flash blue then it flashed black and then the boot windows came up and then all flased at the same time and then just a black screen and nothing, I powered off and tried to reboot and it did the same things I was not able to get into safe mode so I tried a factory restore. Well I have 4 disk's from the factory and my system only would install the first one and not the rest. My computer is running right now but it's not like it's suppose to be lotes of red and yellow errors all over the place.
While the computer was in the factory restore mode it said it was fromatting the partition which is only 15% of the hard drive it that's the case the rest of C: the hard drive is corrupted still.
I can also use my daughters computer to retrive my email from Cox Communication's if needed.

Re: Software Crash
Hello
Since I have having problems with my computer I have tried the following.
Ran a full AV...
Ran a full scan in Malwarebytes...
Used system restore to a month ago...
sfc /scannow--report says there ws one corrupt file...
Ran a full CHKDSK--which was OK...
Safe mode did the same things as far as flashing screen...
Now since the computer only installed one disk I am stuck for options.
I put in the factory restore disk and turned my computer off, then I restarted and about a minute later it came on and asked how I wanted to proceed and I click advanced and went for the full factory restore and it would do only the # 1 disk and then went to right into setup from there to my logon screen.
I tried 3 times to set it back to factory spec's and each time it would only load the # 1 disk.
