Using Recovery Disks: System Recovery DVD Windows Vista Home Premium Disk# 466260-001
Lap top was stuck on a black screen reporting BIOS error.
Owner's brother put a Dell's Recovery Disk into the lap top, which got the laptop to turn and function but of course the drivers
were messed up.
Owner bought the HP System Recovery DVD through HP themselves.
Laptop performs recovery completely until the very end of installing the software. The Recovery Manager announces that the Recovery has Failed. The log shows everything has passed except for:
C:System.save Logs BB IMSM.log
Is there anyway of fixing this asap? We do not have the funds to take it to a professional at the moment, and the owner needs this laptop for schooling.
