Driver Issues??

Hello,

I have numerous issues with my system constantly crashing, refusing to log off / shutdown, not running heavyish programs (not responding) and general speed issues.

I have AVG and MBAM and they show no issues although I did have a virus a while back.

I am trying to backup and restore but my system is too slow to ever complete a backup without locking up!

Windows updates do not proccess - they just say 'installing' for hours

Safe mode is much better, but I still get these problems.

It has slightly reduced after cancelling all startup items.

I am desperate here - from info I have gathered bit by bit, I think there is a driver issue - but windows says all drivers are up-to-date....please help if you have any ideas.

Once you have rung MBAM is safe mode
then go to command prompt and type in sfc(space)/scannow and let it run.
Please post back the results of both tests.

Hello

Do NOT use any of your restore points after being infected as you will re-infect your system, you need to delete all restore points and start new ones.

Hello

Sinse it was a while back please do the following...

1. Make sure your Anyi-Virus is up to date and run another full scan.

2. Make sure that malwarebytes is up tp date and run another full scan and if anything is found go a head and let the software delete them.

Here are a couple of tutorials for you to read.
