First make a full scan with your anti virus
Then download and make a full scan with malwarebytes. If negative follow these guidelines
Here are my solutions to freezing, and an excellent article, which I hope is of some help
Go to search type device manager and look for any yellow warning markers
Download and run malwarebytes, a full scan after you update
Run antivirus scan
Check memory with memtest86
Make sure that you are not over heating.
Try in safe mode; report back if it works properly.
Try a clean boot
Make sure PSU is working properly
If overclocking, restore to original
Test hard drive at company website.
Test in safe mode, does it still happen?
Try with clean boot..

Great post rich, but your memtest link is wrong, I think you may have copied the text of another hyperlink, not the link itself as the url you have specified has "..." in the middle of it. The memtest guide can be found here:

I originally ran mcafee before i was unable to get back into regular mode which was negative but now i am unable to get onto the internet to download malwarebites

I opened up device manager (in safe mode) and see no yellow markers
and again no internet so i cannot download memtest

Now i restarted and went to the startup menu
Here i selected "start up test" which ran a system memory test (not sure if same as you were referring to) which Passed
Then ran a primary hard disk self test which says:
#10008 - Replace Hard Disk 1 rent test titem
SMART check
SMART Hard Disk Passed
Then I ran a "run in test" and got all the same results as the start up test

My diagnostic Log shows
Result:
0305
0303

And thank you very much for you help by the way

Can you do the clean boot that I mentioned in my first post? If so do it now and report back.

So it took a while but using the clean boot i finally narrowed it down to "recovery service for windows" being the cause of my problems. What should i do to fix that?

Ok well i was still having issues with my system running slow anf freezing often so i decided to back everything up and do a system recovery to just clean out my computer and start from scratch. Upon start up i hit esc and select system recovery. Under the recovery manager i select no to "would you like to launch microsoft system restore" which returns to an earlier point in time and yes to "system recovery" which restores to original factory shipped condition
From here it begins Factory image recovery "reformatting the windows partition of your hard disk drive" and "reinstalling original content"
Once recovery is complete i click finish to restart the computer
Next it starts the software installation which stops about a quarter way through and restarts again and says "please wait while windows setsup your computer"

Here i recieve an error saying "windows setup encountered an internal error while loading or searching for an unattend answer file"
After that i force restarts again and says its setting up again and shows the error again and just gets stuck in this loop
