BSoD whenever integrated webcam is switched on

LAponik

New Member
I apologize in advance for any information I have not given in the .zip, but I tried to follow the instructions as closely as possible. The BSoD has been occurring for the past week, and it is always only whenever I try to use the integrated webcam (I have no other webcam).

Vista . . .
- Home Premium 32bit
- Originally pre-installed on system (have not done anything to the OS)
- I have had this laptop for about two years and have not reinstalled the OS or any hardware.

KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000008e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: c0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: acfb2a59, The address that the exception occurred at
Arg3: cf7768d0, Trap Frame
Arg4: 00000000
Debugging Details:

Sir, I'm sorry to be of low experience and in need of somewhat of a walkthrough in this particular situation, but I have a few questions. I understand that you may not be familiar with this "Eyepower Games" though do you know how to uninstall it? I'm just assuming it has something to do with the webcam, but I don't know how to go about this. I checked the website you provided, and was not sure of what to do from then on. Do you suggest uninstalling or updating? What would be the result of either?

If it is something that you do not really use, I would uninstall it and get rid of it.
If you use it, try to update the driver.
If you get the BSODS whenever you use the webcam, if you uninstall you may have webcam problems.
If you want to uninstall
Go to control panel
In control panel go to programs and features. and then uninstll from there.
For the best results it would be best to uninstall.

I uninstalled and the webcam is now functioning and I am no longer getting the BSoD. Thank you so much, sir! I truly appreciate it. I wish you the best.
