Please assist with my BSOD

Hey there

I'm at a loss regarding my computer which I built 2 years ago. In the last few months I've suffered from random BSOD and I've tried numerous thing to no avail. Sometimes they can be weeks apart, but today I've had alot.
My system is OC'ed, but not a lot. The CPU normally runs at 3.0 and I've OC'ed it to 3.6. I've tried to revert to standard clocks but the BSOD persists. Now it may be that my system is just old, but I'd rather see if I can save it before I run off and purchase a new one.

Some info about my system which I built from scracth:

Zalman PSU 800W
Decent Tower with lots of room
Asus P5q-Pro Motherboard
Intel Q9650 3.0 @ 3.6 WaterCooled
Corsair 2x2GB Dual Ram
Radeon 4870x2 Graphic
Soundblaster X-fi Xtreme
Windows Vista Home Basic x64 OEM

I've uploaded the files as requested, but unfortunately my windows is in Danish, but hope you can get the gist of it anyway.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide :)

APC_INDEX_MISMATCH (1)
This is a kernel internal error. The most common reason to see this
bugcheck is when a filesystem or a driver has a mismatched number of
calls to disable and re-enable APCs. The key data item is the
Thread->KernelApcDisable field. A negative value indicates that a driver
has disabled APC calls without re-enabling them. A positive value indicates
that the reverse is true. This check is made on exit from a system call.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000077d16e3a, address of system function (system call)
Arg2: 0000000000000000, Thread->ApcStateIndex << 8 | Previous ApcStateIndex
Arg3: 000000000000fffe, Thread->KernelApcDisable
Arg4: fffffa6004bafca0, Previous KernelApcDisable

Yeah, they go back to Feb or so. I figured I'd better include all of them since they might give a better picture of what is going on. No rush on my side, I'm just glad that I get some help :)

Well, it seems my Ram is faulty as it comes up with errors right away. In 2 minutes of testing I had 25 errors already  Odd that I sometimes can play for a week without any BSOD's. Maybe they have suffered damage from my OC as I ran stress test for 24 hours back in the day without any errors. I will try to get a hold of some new ram and get back to you with news.

I had 2 viruses and 2 malware which were deleted, but I doubt they had much to do with my BSOD's.

We need to know if its the ram or the board.
Take a good stick and test each slot for 8 passes.
Then we will know what has to be done.
If its the board new ram will not help.

Test each slot for 8 passes. If it passes, new ram should solve the problem. Dont mix and match, buy all the ram that you need at once.

So far it looks like it's one of the sticks that is faulty. A shame it is DDR2 which is rather pricey. I will run the last 6 passes and see how it goes. Will let you know soon. Thanks for the help offered so far.

10 passes and no errors with a single stick of 2 Gb ram. Now I will test the system while gaming and see if I get any BSOD. As far as I've read on the net I can get by with only 2 Gb of ram. I may buy a new system in six months or so, so I'd rather not invest more in this system.
If I have to buy the same type of stick I will have to pay around 100 dollars, since the type I bought was very pricey even then. I could buy two new sticks, but they would cost almost the same. Odd that you can get 4 Gb of DDR3 ram for half that cost.
Will let you guys know if I get any more errors.
I will test for at least a week or two since I sometimes have played for that long without BSOD. Again thanks for the help :geek:

And again here we go. After 11 days with no BSOD I again get one when I try to boot the PC. And the fun stuff is that I had planned to buy some new ram today and use the PC for the next 1-2 years as it really isn't that crappy at least not when it's behaving. Hope you guys can figure out what it is this time :sarc: Maybe it's more than the faulty ram.
