Hi everyone, two days ago my computer froze, so automatically I tried to manually restart it; only it booted and then froze on a black screen when usually the windows log in screen appears, then the monitor shut off as if going into sleep mode. I proceeded to remove and plug back in all my USB devices (mouse, keyboard, printer, and external storage HD) as this has helped before, but again it froze on a black screen where I usually get the windows log in screen, and again it seemed to go into sleep mode. Thinking the computer could be overheating I manually shut it down and let it rest for the past day and a half. Earlier today I tried restarting it again, only to have the black screen appear again, so I manually restarted again thinking that it would work in safe mode, but the same frozen screen appeared after the safe mode attempt. I dug around found my reinstallation DVD and tried booting it from the DVD drive only to get the black screen again. I ran a BIOS test to search for any errors and got one saying "Error Code 2000-0146." What does this mean, and any and all advice is welcome and needed as I'm in school and need to get it back to running properly asap...Thanks for taking the time to read this.
