I got a problem with a Vista Home Premium computer

Im tryin to fix someone's computer. Apparently one day, they booted it & it shows the loading bar but doesn't show the Window Vista logo on top of it. Then after loading, it goes to a black screen with the mouse. But sooner after that, It goes to sleep & restarts all over again.

Can you please help me figure out what's wrong with it & get it going again

I Don't know much about their computer other then what Windows is installed on it

Did she make or did it come with Recovery Discs?

Anyway boot into safemode and run SFC and see what it tells you.

Make a recovery disk...
Create a Recovery Disc

Run sfc...
System Files - SFC Command

Run a full AV...
Download and run a full scan with malwarebytes free version...

When computer first start up hit F8 or F11 repeatedly until it opens in safe mode.
