It appears that the cause of your problem is a driver
Athrusb.sys with description Atheros Extensible Wireless LAN device driver is a driver file from company Atheros Communications, Inc. belonging to product Driver for Atheros Wireless USB Network Adapter.
Go to the website and update to the newest driver, then boot the computer.
Test and post to give us the results.
We do wish you luck
thanks a lot rich.
You are very welcome, I hope that it is this easy; time will tell.
As strange as it may seem, the most current is not always the best.
Go to the website (not Windows update) and get the most current. If it shows that you have the most current, go to windows device manager and install the prior version of the driver.
START with a system restore so it is easy to go back, if results are less than satisfactory.
can suggest me a link, i do find the site, but its to complicated to understand.
i have window update.
acer aspire m1202,
I have not forgotten about you. I am experiencing a problem with the download information. I will post as soon as it is resolved.
It appears that the driver is not available at the Atheros site. I have found the driver from other sources but am reluctant to pass the information to you as I am not satisfied as to the safety of the downloads.
I will post when additional information becomes available.
