Explorer.exe has stopped working

I own a Vista Home Premium 64-bit, SP2.

Whenever I try to view the properties of My Computer, Explorer.exe stops working. This is one of many problems I got on my Vista, but I guess I should start here. Can anyone help me?

Start with a full anti virus scan. Download and make a full scan with malwarebytes, use the free version. Post back after you have made the scans.
