Failure-Security Options
I have been having this problem for a while Computer Freezes and I cant do anything

I don't know how it fix this

I also Cannot turn on Windows Defender windows freezes and a error 0x800106ba A problem caused this program's service to stop Restart and search help and support did this no solutions
can't figure out what happen there

Would Like some proffesional advice
Thanks all help is greatly appreciated

Start with a few of the free scans from here: Free Online AntiMalware Resources
If it shows that you're infected, please post over in the Security Forums.
If not infected, post back for some more diagnostics to be run.

have tried these and I have no issues no malware or virus

Check services.msc and see if the RPC services (Remote Procedure Call) are running.

FYI - the 0x800106ba error is "RPC_S_SERVER_UNAVAILABLE"

This also is tied closely to your network connectivity, so troubleshoot your network connections.

Beyond that, I'd have to suggest a Repair Install of Vista: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88236-repair-install-vista.html

I just wanted to note that if you have Microsoft Security Essentials installed, it turns off Windows Defender. Could that be the issue?
