BSOD, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error

Hello,

My Dell laptop is producing the IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL error and I can now only run in safe mode. I've tried a sys restore and updating my drivers to no avail. I'm running Vista Home Premium on a 3 year old laptop and it's the original OEM install. I've attached the BSOD Dump & System File Collection but the Health report will not run. Help is greatly appreciated!

Hello,

Thank you for the quick response. I went to that site but I cannot run the updater because I need an updated version of Java. Unfortunately, I cannot update Java in safe mode. Is there a way around this?

First a couple of questions: -
  • How long do you get in the system "Normal Boot" before a BSOD occurs?
  • Do you have enough time to turn off all but the MS start-up items in "MSConfig"

Hello, I manged to get the Java update and according to the website you provided everything is up to date that it can detect. I've attached another log file. What should I do now?
