I have started getting bsod at log-in. Attached is diagnostics suggested in someone elses thread.
Thanks for any help.
I'm also curious as to how this may have happened and how to prevent it.

Welcome
You have given us a lot of reports, many point to the same culprit
wpsdrvnt.sys
This is a driver that is part of your Sygate Technologies Software
If your antivirus is from Symantec, that appears to be the cause.
Make a system restore point and update the driver or uninstall the software.
If the problem continues post the new reports and we will go to the next step.
For testing purposes, replace your anti virus with Microsoft Security Essentials.
Thank you. Yes, we do use Symantec. I have sone a system restore and I'll see about updating the driver. Thanks again.
Your welcome, If you still get BSODs post and we shall look some more.
My Symantec was an old version. I ended up uninstalling and installing free microsoft virus software and it seems the problem is gone. I'll let you know if it comes back.
Again, thanks for your help.
Thats great news, seems like we solved your BSOD problem. Comeback at any time if the problem returns.
