Recently my Toshiba Satellite C650D laptop computer that is running windows vista home premium x86 (32) bit computer with an AMD Vision processor has been displaying some not so understandable error messages to a person that doesn't know allot about the ins and outs about computer drivers and software. When I first turned on my computer one day it was a little slower than normal starting up then when it turned on it displayed an error message saying ''Desktop window manager has stopped working'' after i logged on. I thought nothing of it until I realized my computer was no longer displaying aero transparency so i went into personalization and aero was not there anymore just the little color options thing. Here is the problem details:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name:APPCRASH
Application Name:Dwm.exe
Application Version: 6.0.6000.16386
Application Timestamp: 4549aed1
Fault Module Name: sppc.dll
Fault Module Version: 6.0.6000.16386
Fault Module Timestamp: 4549bdc9
Exception Code: c0000135
Exception Offset: 00008fc7
OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033
Additional Information 1: 9d13
Additional Information 2: 1abee00edb3fc1158f9ad6f44f0f6be8
Additional Information 3: 9d13
Additional Information 4: 1abee00edb3fc1158f9ad6f44f0f6be8.

Then when you click x on that there is another error message saying:

dwm.exe-Unable to locate component

This application has failed to start because sppc.dll was not found.
Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

When I click x on that it just brings up the thing about the desktop windows manager again. I did try reinstalling the sppc.dll online but it says windows could not find a program to open this file with. Not having my aero is really driving me crazy and also allot of the time i go into the control panel and try to open certain pages it will just say ''this page failed to load'' so there is no possible way for me to troubleshoot. I tried system restore but it just comes up with an error saying it didn't restore successfully. I do not think there is a virus because I scanned the whole computer and my antivirus could not find anything. So im thinking it might be a corrupt or missing file. So if you can help me please do because this is becoming a major headache for me and lately im getting the feeling that it will just stop working one day soon from all these errors! Also sometimes the screen goes brighter for a second and then dims back to where it should be.....this is only when its running off the battery but could this be a processor problem too???!!!
