Multiple messages from BSOD!!!

Hi all, I've been having BSOD problems with my laptop over the past week. It seemed to occur more frequently as the week wore on so I did a full system reset of the vista home premium pack that I've got running. The drive was reformatted and all the system files recreated and restored to its factory settings, but the BSOD still came on an hour or so later and it continues to bother me till this weekend. I've compressed my dump files and attached them for review.

One strange thing though, the message on my BSOD crashes have not been consistent, they are changing every time my system crashes. e.g. page error on non-paged and then the next time it said memory management.....arrrgghhh...what the hell???

So I've got rid of avast and installed Microsoft essentials and I have used the PC for 6 hours straight without any interruption, but then I tried restarting it and the blue screen came on again. So I've attached the latest dump files!!

Hi,

The Blue screen message is for “OA001Vid.sys” which is related to video capture (camera, web cam?) driver.

We can try to reinstall the webcam drivers and check if it works.

Also, check in device manager if the webcam is detected.

Run the online diagnostics (Choose a Diagnostic Type as components) on the computer to check if the hardware (Camera) is working fine, providing the link for detailed instruction: Dell PC Diagnostics | Dell US

Please post the results.

The latest is that I've used the computer the whole day yesterday and I didn't experience any blue screen at all. The last blue screen I encountered was on Sunday evening when I un-installed avast antivirus, and this happened on restart. Apart from that, I've had no blue screens until now, the avast antivirus was probably the cause of all this mess. It might have had an effect on all the other drivers prompting all these different messages.

Anyway.........@Madhur B......I've got an imaging device called fast access video capture under imaging devices in the device manager. This device is disabled, but It has been disabled for quite a while now, even before I had this blue screen mayhem. The webcam is working fine!!

I guess I'll just have to wait and see if I'm gonna get another blue screen, then I'll notify you guys straight away.

Thanks for response Madhur B

Ok guys, I installed Microsoft essentials and I updated it and everything was fine for three straight days. Until windows update installed two new updates for microsoft essentials and a few hours later I had a blue screen. The next thing I did was I restored the system to when I first installed and updated microsoft essentials. Since restoring, microsoft essentials reports that it is out of date and needs to download updates, but the funny thing was that from the program interface (Microsoft essentials) it was up to date. The two new updates were located and came along as windows updates instead of being shown on the actual program interface, so I assumed that maybe if I only updated the program itself and disabled windows updates, it would solve the problem.

what do you guys think???

Its me again, I reverted my system back to when I first installed microsoft security essentials. The PC ran well for a couple of days but just 30 mins ago or so, another BSOD occurred. I'm baffled, its probably hardware because so many different errors come up time and time again!! The dump files are attached.

No files are attached, but if you reinstalled and you get many different errors that does point to hardware.
