Hi hope some one can help me I am a beginner repairer.My computer will not load and in safe mode it list all the drivers and then stops the last one listed is avgidshx.sys I put in the disc to restore it makes a lot of noise like it wants to go but will not run it even when I have it boot from cd now it will not release the cd. I can get to BIOS and Boot but that is it I have my normal beep when it comes on (Phoenix) so no beep code could it be maleware? Can I fix it?

That driver is an AVG Anti Virus Driver. If you can uninstall AVG and then try.

My computer will not load can not get to files I can get to a few areas my bios and boot but anytime I use safe mode or command prompt I get a black screen that list drivers at bottom says please wait and I have waited nothing it will not run or release repair cd and if I choose to restore I get a black screen with the micosoft logo and a green moving light and again I have waited hours nothing happens Can I use my laptop backup on a flash drive to get my desktop started to the point I could fix it?

it is a old cheap e machine t3646 runs vista I took it apart and now have my restore cd back yes I was told by a tech to trash it and since my bootable flash failed also, I guess I will have to, but it actually worked great before I put avg on it

I actually got it working and did not lose anything but I had to make a boot cd from my laptop upload it to flash and it brought my computer up then deleted avg ran a check disk computer health says good need to put it back together and put new virus protection,
