windows vista cant boot up

Hi everyone, I was formatting my windows and installing windows vista. everything was fine until it crashed and i couldnt boot up anymore.
every since that happened ive tried to reinstall vista but it kept the same error.

so when i tried to fix it with the windows cd it showed this error:

note: I have formatted the HDD and installed the OS several times after the problem begun and it kept the same error. I even tried to install vista from another CD. does anyone have any ideia what could possibly be happening?

I would run a diagnostic on the HD. Try booting to command prompt and running chkdsk for a start.
