Hello Everyone,

I was able to purchase a Vista repair and recovery disc. My laptop with Vista home premium x64 will not boot. I have reinstalled windows to original settings several times. Will work well for a few times then won't boot.

Vista startup repair said it cannot repair it automatically. Here's the problem signature:

Any help understanding this would be greatly appreciated.

Could this be a hardware problem?

Could it be a RAM memory problem.

Thank you for your help!!!

Hi,

The issue is with the version of software you mention, that is Vista 64 bit & only SP1.

A fresh install from your recovery DVD & a full update (Lots of them), should sort it out.
