HELP...

I make a new RAID setup. everything is good. i load up vista and i get to the install/partition screen. No mass storage device is displayed. I go to install drivers and i try everything, from old XP drivers 32 and 64 bit drivers alike.

I am installing Windows Vista 64.

I am running Promise Fasttrak 579 Serial ATA in RAID 0 (2 HDD)

Please help i would love to get this working, weather the solution is a driver problem or there is something more *unlikley xp works fine*

thanks for your time

thanks a lot

ill try it out *fingers crossed* i dont want to have to install windows for a third time to get vista 64 up and working. i have to switch back to my VT8237 SATA RAid and thats no good on my mobo. something is messed up with the VT i take it into canada computers *under warrenty* and they told me to use promise, which i have no luck with vista. and they wont order me a new mobo unless something is broken so if this does not work i will have to take the computer in and have einstein *rolls eyes* fix it. or change it back to VT8273. they are idiots i gotta tell yah. next computer i will be making

As I wrote, You can try install Vista x64 with these drivers.
But if you want to use your previous installation, it's bad. Because 2 HDDs are not portable from one type of RAID0 controller to another.
