HI first of all... i dont know anything about electronics....

so the other morning, I open my laptop and the screen is all stretched horizontally.... its not the resolution since I checked that like 20 times... plus ,somehow when i connect my ipod to it... itunes does not recognize it anymore... all it does it charge it, but i am unable to change the songs... this has only been happening since the screen is like that.... i really dont know what to do and have no time to bring it to a technician since i need it every day for my school projects....
Is there anything I can do?

im no expert but i'd say a few of your drivers have become corrupt
i suggest re-installing both I-tunes and your video card driver
hopefuly this will fix your problem

edit:if its 1 of the computers that have come pre-installed with vista then when booting tap F8 repeatedly and load last known working configeration if the above does not work
