| Newbie Rep Power: 7  |  vista 64 only low resolution Hi, I have bought a new computer and installed vista 64. I have a problem with setting the display resolution. I have viesonic vx2025wm display with 1650x1080 resolution, but vistas show me only options up to 1024x768 (and only 4:3). The graphics card is MSI NX8600GTS - heatpipe with latest drivers from msi.com.tw. Display drivers from viewsonic site are COMPLETELY USELESS!, the only driver I was able to install was from the original CD (from march 2006). Any suggestions? Thank you. |

its a mystery.... the second restart due to another installation and everything (resolution) is ok... I don't see why  I am sure I restarted the computer after installing the drivers. Neither the vistas wanted new restart...well, thank you again... Can someone delete this thread? It is useless I think. I know why it works now  ... I have changed the monitor from the "old one" (viesonic march 2006) to vista "PnP display"... The first founded driver was "not PnP display".Sorry my english and translation, I have different language version vistas. Last edited by miksa; 12-14-2007 at 04:58 PM.
