Please can anybody help me? I want to do a clean install with vista ultimate x64 oem, on new pc with no os.when loading from dvd supplied it gets so far then asked to install drivers,but im unable to download any drivers as when i go onto nvidia site it tests my old pc and all i get told is that i dont have their motherboard. , any ideas, thanking you in advance ( bet you've been asked this before so sorry:o)

Are you saying that the vista installation completed and now it's asking for the nvidia graphics driver? If this is a name brand PC (like dell, ibm, compaq, hp) then you can get the driver from their website. Or if this is a PC you built yourself then I can't help but assume you know what hardware you have. If it is indeed an Nvidia video card you shuld be able to find it on the list. Kind of sounds like you have a brand name motherboard with Nvidia chipset on it. Like Nforce?

Hi thanks for the reply upon closer inspection even though it showed it was connected ok the sata lead was not fully connected, after refitting the OEM o/s loaded no trouble at all. Hope this might help someone else out in the future.Thanks again for the reply.
