Vista - Video Driver Needed :: Toshiba Laptop

I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows Vista Home Basic 32bit.

After purchasing a 3d program, I discovered that the "3d" part of the program screws up every time I try and use it.

After a little learning, I discovered that I cannot upgrade the video card and, that upgrading the RAM would help either.

So, now I'm on to questing after a new video driver. Problem is, I have no idea what to look for. And, after reading many forums and comments all over the net ... I am a little afraid of installing a new driver. Seems a lot of people a practically destroyed their machines. Scary stuff.

Can anyone direct me to right driver for my situation?

At worst it will say that it cant find the device etc... worth a shot

I downloaded the Intel Driver from Toshiba and the Accelerator driver from Microsoft.

Unfortunately neither helps...but at least it didn't kill my machine!!

Are we sure this particular model uses the Intel integrated graphics, as opposed to the Nvidia one also listed on the driver page?

Different revision numbers of the same model could have fairly large differences...

If you could please go to the device manager and see what kind of video card it shows you as having.

If its an nvidia card i would get drivers from LaptopVideo2Go & NVIDIA Related News Nvidia doesnt have laptop drivers on their site but laptopvideo2go modifies the drivers and posts laptop video drivers from many OEM companies
