HP w1907s monitor driver

I have Vista Home Premium which continually tries to load drivers for my HPw1907s monitor but fails with the error mesage "access denied" when tries to install. I get the same message when I try a manual install. Thye monitor comes up as default PnP with wrong resolution each time I reboot. The only way to pick up the HP monitor and get the right resolution is to delete from device manager then the HP monitor is picked up but as "other device" and not as a monitor.
Can anyone help please? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. No, I can download the driver OK but Vista wouldn't allow me to load it.
HP said they are aware of the bug and suggested a number of workarounds but they are working on a permanent fix.
