anyone have any luck installing x64 vista sp1 on a machine with a nvdia 680i chipset? i have a raid 0 partition, and i haven't found a set of drivers to load during setup, which allows setup to find the raid 0 partition. i'm stuck in 32bit vista :-(

I have an Evga board with 680i. x64 has no problem in recognizing my raid 0 configuration. I have notice in on of the window update options there is a Nvidia Raid Driver. May be that is what you needed but don't know how you can get it since you can't install the OS first place. Wonder what happened when you install x64 that failed you.

i got it working.

i think, and i'm embarrased, that the next button was enabled, but it was faint, and looked disabled. that is why i thought i had to load drivers there.

working fine now

all except fsx, and the 8800gtx adapter. fsx sp2 or accellerator, both cause fsx to close, with the message invalid hardware or driver, and then goes on to say that the card i have doesn't meet the minimums (geforce2) LOL.

uninstall fsx sp2 or accelerator, fsx runs fine. just no dx10

Have any of you guys that are running RAID 0 on a 680i chipset in Vista X64 ever run benchies on your array? If so what were your results? I ran raid 0 in vista X64 and my results were terrible and have since scrapped the idea of raid 0. Any input as to your results/experience would be appreciated.
