| Newbie Rep Power: 6  |  Printer spooler error 1068 Hello everyone, I recently bought a new laptop with vista premium home. I have a lexmark z647. I downloaded a clean-up program from lexmark and ran it. Then i downloaded and installed the vista driver from lexmark. when i attempt to print i get error 1068 the dependency service or group failed to start. I have tried to restart the spooler to no avail, also there are no dependencies listed under the spooler. the printer shows up under programs, but when you go through control panel under printers it is not listed. If I attempt to print say this page from my browser command I get a message telling me i must first select a printer. I have tried several ideas from google through the command prompt but it tells me not allowed. This is regarding something about REGEDIT Any ideas what I am doing wrong? |
