| Newbie | Help needed with installing HP CM1015 on 64bit Vista HELP!!!!!! I've got 64bit Vista Home Premium PC and i'm converting over from my old 32bit XP machine over to this new Vista machine and i'm having problems with the installation of the HP CM015 MFP. I've downloaded all 405M/bit of the 64bit software and installing it goes well until i'm asked to connect the printer. At that point the PC detects the printer and Vista asks for the drivers, but the software doesn't detect the printer and it times out saying that the printer can not be seen and completes the software installation. I'm not sure what the issue is, whether it's with the software, the USB ports or something that Vista is throwing up. Any ideas and thoughts would be greatly appreciated please. |
