Vista - logitech G11 wont work

hey all. im new to this forum but yeah....
i have a G11 that just wont work i downloaded the 64 bit drivers and nothing vista just wont have it. logitech said i could possibly have a corrupt inf file and should delete it then vista would rebuild it letting my keyboard install i also disabled singed drivers to enable all drivers to work but now
no keyboards work at all! so lastly i was like let me move my mouse and keyboard around...... right now the mouse doesn't work either!!! i know i wanna rip my eyes out of my face. i have the following.

evga 780i, q6600, 8 gigs of ram, vista x64

mine installs but then doesnt work. media buttons work but no other keys. in the device manager there is no keyboard device installed. just usb hub and composite device. did you ever find a solution to your problem.
