labelflash

i have a new toshiba laptop. i purchased the fuji and the memorex discs but there is no instructions on how to use them. i called toshiba twice and talked to an indian and he kept asking me what is label flash and i called back and spoke to some gal in manila and got the same response. yamaha and fuji developed this process. i went to fuji's official web page and downloaded a "dll and the software" they provided. on their web page there are many templates but only two will download. the rest come up as pictures. going to memorex and attempting to download their templates the same problem exists. i called memorex and i was told to call toshiba. how ridiculous. when i downloaded the two templates from memorex to my desktop i used toshiba movie maker and i did burn a disc. however, as i indicated just two templates would download.
note: when downloading the fuji software the program they provide includes a program with multiple selections to use and they will work. but, there is no way to get the templates from their web page to the program they provide. The Official Website of Labelflash™ i guess the best way to approach this is simple go to the url i provided. i a am a senior and not a geek so i would appreciate any input.

Design News - Free Distribution of Labelflash Photo Labeler Software to Begin - TAXI Design Network

That article states the info on the release of LabelFlash support for the US by Yamaha

It seems that as of the moment they have yet to release the Photo Labeling Program for US, despite news in April (when it was almost May) that a US side release of the program was to come in a few months from that date. I assume that sometime this month or possibly as late as September they may have a US version of their Photo Labeling Program ready for download on the official site.

Right now your alternative is to download the Japanese Version of the software (the tab next to english) and follow the layout of the English Site, just now you'll see a 3rd area on the downloads page and would have to figure things out to get the download page for the photo labeler.

I'm not sure if the JP version offers an english language option for the menus, etc, so if you don't think you could figure your way around (honestly, even I wouldn't care to DL the JP ver even though I could figure out the JP) you'll be waiting for the english release like I am. The labels are made for that program (the label print one) if not mistaken, so the fact that they are images would not matter to the Labeler Program, but the Indexer Program is another story (but sadly the only program they currently offer).

Alternatively, CyberLink has a LabelFlash & LightScribe (supports both) program called Label Print 2, but if you didn't get it on your PC (if you bought a pre-assembled PC with a LS or LF drive they are including programs to allow you to use these functions) it will end up costing you $20, $50 if you want the CyberLink Package Suite.
