This is probably a stupid question but i gotta ask. Do i need to DL raid drivers if i don't have any sata connection attached to the raid socket on my mobo? I was at Asus' website looking at the latest bios for my mobo and saw the drivers section listed a couple of drivers for raid.

My only Vista problem that i still can't get any answers on  involves 3 dvd drives that i have installed in my system. The 2 sata dvd rom drives don't recognize any disc i put into them(or any disc already in them) after s3 sleep....but a sata dvdrw drive installed works fine still after s3 sleep.

But after a restart all 3 drives work perfectly. All 3 are new and all three have latest firmware for Vista 64-bit. This small problem has left me scratching my head here. There's no jumpers on dvd drives are there?

On my mobo there is 5 or 6(i can't remember now) red sata input connections that i use and one black sata connection that i don't use.

Thankfully my sata HD works great after s3 sleep but i really want to solve this problem.Help? Please?
