Dislay Driver Stoped responding but has recovered

Why does the dispay driver stop responding and can I do anything about it? It is very agravating.

I see that as well. NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT, 7.15.11.6938 driver (aka 161.38).

This is a problem with the nvidia cards. Try a different driver, this may help.
