| Re: TSSTcorp DVD+-RW TS-L632D ATA Device Hello Friend. I just saw your message and wanted to post the resolution for it. Plesae open the below link and update the CD/DVD drive firmware and everything will be working fine. This firmware fixed 2 issues. 1. Fixed the iTunes issue with "The attempt to burn a disc failed. An unknown error occurred (2131) when you tried to burn playlist to disc for blank CD-R media. 2. Fixed the region code error for DVD movie playback. Click here Thnx, enjoy. |

Doing this in Safe Mode is sometimes better but you can do it in regular Windows first to see if it works. Enter Device Mgr and the properties for this device, then if it has the option to "Uninstall" the device on th driver tab still, use that first. Power down the machine and physically unplug this device from your computer. Reboot into Windows without the unit hooked up, this will allow windows to register that the device is no longer installed. Power down and hook the device back up, reboot and allow Windows to detect it and install it once more. This will fix this type of problem 99% of the time. Dave |
