| VISTA Home Premium 64bit | Re: S3 STR Sleep Can NOT Wake up Dear Steven: I try all actions list by Power Options and Sleep Mode Problems. Remove wireless keyboard and mouse does NOT wake up, change Power Plan Option does not wake up, Check the atartup progrom does not work, even system restore, still same status. ... .... the only thing does not change is PCI Bus still memoryrange out, I suspect this is the root cause, But I can not fix it. Next step I will do : 1. Change vedio card, 2. use a new harddisk to install VISTA again, to check PCI bus problem. |

| VISTA Home Premium 64bit | Re: S3 STR Sleep Can NOT Wake up I Find it !!! Fianally !!! the root cause is 175.16 really,I use Nvidia chip like 4 years , and ATI 3 years, I was always think Nvidia's drivers is much better than ATI, until now! looks like he make a jok for me! I make a mistake , that is update drivers to 175.16, and sametime change the heatsink, this remind me , Never do more than one case in the same time. I try to double corform the driver problem , 1. uninstall 169.25 , and clean up all Nvidia's drivers , and just install forceware 175.16 STR can not wake up. 2. Do not uninstall 175.16, and install 169.25, s3 still can wake up. ... ... I am sure it is 175.16's Problem!!! P.S PCI Bus memory range out still there, still look on them! Does anyone using 64Bit and Memory >=4G post a screenshot of PCI Bus for me ! I start believe it is not big issue. |
