| Newbie Rep Power: 3  |  driver for sony hd hanycam hello all, my new pc with vista 64 does not recognise my sony hdrsr1 handycam, and it does not have a firewire connection point. are ther any drivers ,or can any one help me as to how i can get the images into an editing program. i cant believe my new pc cant do this simple function...please help, thankyou so much, warwick |

If so, just connect your camera to the computer via USB and Vista should already be able to see the camera as a mass storage device. Just copy over the folders by drag and drop. I don't know for sure because I use a Sony HDR-SR8E which is an AVCHD HDTV camera with hard disk storage, this works for me but maybe not for you. |
