Hi,
Ok so basically with EVERY device including my mouse and dvd drives whenever I plug something in it says that windows could not find the driver. I then point it to c:/Windows/system32 . It says that it finds them but cannot install them
Can anyone help me!? This is really urgent and re-installing is not a possibily as i cannot put dvds into the dvd drives.
Thanks

Hi, by default the Driver for the Devices will be in C:\Windows\WINSXS and C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore. Try to Install the Drivers from these Locations.

As you have mentioned you using 64BIT OS verify that the drivers are Digitally Signed

If you do not have the right Drivers then you are messing up with your Computer.

If you need to re-install you can still boot off the DVD, just ensure that your CD/DVD Drive is set up to boot in BIOS.

probably your copy of windows its damaged, find another one, since vista have the possibility to download drivers from windows update, so if even the drivers on your pc where damaged or something, windows should be able to find them and download updated versions, if not then your pc its really screw up, at least the drivers parts

To v-6muthr,
Thanks for the info about where the drivers are located. It was driving me nuts, everytime I booted my machine, it would ask me to locate my usb, firewire and new devices drivers. Once again Thanks.
