| windows vista home basic | help me with my external hardrive..... Hai, i had just bought an external hardrive and have install sucessfully on my windows vista basic. and a check on it appear to be " this device is working properly " But the problem i encounter is that, it dosen't appear when i open "computer". there only (c) drive, (d) drive and DVD RW drive. There are no drive for my external hardrive. Pls help me........  |

| windows vista home basic | Re: help me with my external hardrive..... i think i know wat happen.... a check on my computer management> storage> disk management..... indicate tat my external hardrive is "unallocated". so i tried "Create and format a hard disk partition". Right now it is formating my external hardrive......will c wat happen when it finish. i think it should work  |
