Hello All!

I have a problem recently developed with WPD system drivers. Can anyone tell me how to get new downloads from Microsoft to fix . My system is repoering ..unable to find device drivers. I am using Windows business Vista, and want to access the SD card reader to download pics. This has work well before without a hitch. No new changes, although this is the first tiem i am using since Vista service pack installation. Thanks Guys!

Hi Broadshaw,

Who is the manufacturer of your SD Card Reader?

Re: WPD System divice Drivers

Hi thanks for your response.

I am using a lenovo 3000 family notebook with card reader loading a 1 gig micro chip SD card with adepter. The product label is Transcend, and has worked well before on the same system. Yet, the preload vista software searches for software (recommended) and cannot locate the drivers. The way this has worked countless times before the vista release service pack 1; is i'll insert the adapter in the card drive, Picasa2 would load and I was able to simply import from the card. That's it. Now Picasa2 can see the card, but unable to turn on the import value.

Cheers!
Ben

Hey Ben,

Since you mentioned it was working correctly before the SP1 Vista update can you try uninstalling and reinstalling the Driver, alternativly download the latest BIOS update and SD Driver from the Lenovo site from here:
