Vista - Vista install driver

Hi guys,

Need some help with this one, hope I'm in the right thread. I just built a new system and purchased a copy of windows home premium 64 bit and I'm having trouble installing.


System:

Asus p5q3 Deluxe @n wifi mobo
ATI 4870 512mb video
ocz 550watt psu
q9300 intel processor
4gb OCZ 1333 ddr3 mem
seagate 7200.10 sata 500gb hard drive
Sony 20x Dvd rom

I set the bios to boot from the sony dvd rom and windows install screen pops up. I click on my HD and it begins to install. It gets past "copy files" then starts on "expanding files". Here is where the problem is. On my OEM disc "expanding files" sticks at 0% for about 10 minutes then I get an error message saying Windows is missing installation files.

I have checked all over online for help and I see many people with the same problem but no fixes. Here's what I ha9ve tried:

Installed driver for ICH10 SATA at installation screen
Tried a different windows disc (this one goes to 11% "expanding files" then the same error occurs.
Tried slipping in my Asus CD and loading every driver I could find on the Disc in the install menu
Played with Bios options enabling/disabling different settings
Removed all but 1 or 2 sticks of RAM
Same problem over and over.

I would really like to get this installed considering I paid for this software. Any ideas what files it may need?
