| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Microsoft ISATAP Adapter Driver needed I uses Acer Aspire 5920, I found in my Device Manager a named Microsoft ISATAP Adapter device driver error exclamated with yellow which is an indication that all is not well. I did not install any adapter to my notebook computer, so how come about this strange device in my system? Please if anyone out there has experience this same problem, please advice on how to solve it, I've asked windows to look for the driver to the Microsoft ISATAP Adapter in the internet but the result was not successful. Where can I find and download the driver for this Microsoft ISATAP Adapter? Please mail me the link. Peter Agboro |

| Vista Ultimate x64 MAK, OpenSolaris 5, Gentoo 2008.1.... | Re: Microsoft ISATAP Adapter Driver needed you'll have to do that yourself as you are the owner of the laptop. But if everything works, then I would not worry about it - just try to burn a CD or DVD and see if it works - if so, then contact Acer via email and find out why this exists - you may just need to reinstall a driver because of a Windows Update....like SP1.... |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Microsoft ISATAP Adapter Driver needed I just did a search on this and found a post that said to just ignore it. Here is the link to the thread on this site. On a Windows Vista-based computer or on a Windows Server 2008-based computer, the Microsoft ISATAP adapter appears with a yellow exclamation mark next to it in Device Manager, and you also receive an error message |
