| Vista Prem 64 and XP Pro dual boot | Requires signed drivers... program may not work properly Well then. How bout that? I should have just gotten Vista 32bit. I just tried to install a program on Vista and Vista turned up it's nose. Sorry Dwayne, but I refuse to install this driver. It hasn't been signed! And I replied with, You fool, this is a legit program, there's nothing wrong with it. It will work just fine. Install it. And vista says to me, Well I don't want to. Then I replied with, do it anyway. Your my computer, my operating system, you do what I say. And then Vista laughed. Is there a work around that I can set up to get Vista to install these "unsigned drivers"? |

| Vista Ultimate x64 MAK, OpenSolaris 5, Gentoo 2008.1.... | Re: Requires signed drivers... program may not work properly you have to run Vista with the option to allow for unsigned drivers - reboot, hit F8 repeatedly until you get the Vista menu, and select (I beleive) Allow Vista to use unsigned drivers. Be warned, though that this is something you'll have to do *every time* you boot. |
