| Vista Home Basic x64 | 9600GT SLI problem yesterday i bought vista basic x64 and i installed all updates and all drivers, and then tried to enable SLI from Nvidia control panel i hit apply and it said to switch to SLI multi-GPU some applications needs to be closed. would you like to close those applications now? so i clicked yes then the screen went black i waited about 10seconds and it went back to normal but all that was left in the control panel was first-packet settings. im using latest drivers 175.19 any suggestions how do i get SLI working? on my XP x86 i had no problems setting SLI Last edited by Axe; 07-17-2008 at 09:09 AM.. |

| Vista Ultimate x64 sp1 | Re: 9600GT SLI problem Hi, i have experienced the same on my brothers pc,when enableing sli the screen went black when its supposed to show you the new option screen and text " would you like to keep this new settings" but nothing. So we tryed one more time and when the screen went black again we hit enter to acept new setting even if what we saw was stil a black screen, then we unplugged the DVI contact while pc stil running and checked all other dvi contacts on both cards and i worked on the 2nd dvi in sli. Mabye its like that with your pc too. Good luck |
