OK, so I have the old original xbox.. I love that first one. No red light problems like the 360. but now I love my computer more. So I've recently been playing GRID. and I think it's a totally badass game. it's so fun. but I wanna use my Old Original Xbox controllers for my computer. I have a cable that i can use to convert my original xbox controller to USB. then I can connect to my PC system.

Can anyone please tell me exactly what I need to do. What drivers, & Where. and how do I do this on Vista 64 bit. I need the xbcd for vista 64. and I also need to kno how to get that past the digitally signed drivers thing. . So if someone could please let me kno what all I need to do to get this going. I'd very much appreciaite it.

Thanks!

cool, thanks for the info. I still can't figure it out tho.. After I download and run the file.. it loads. and tells me to replug in controller. Then I need to put the xbcd.inf file somewhere, and also the xbcd.sys file somewhere.. it tells you that in the directions like your second link says... BUT, but when I load the drivers. There isn't an inf file.. or maybe there is and I don't kno what to look for. There is 5 things in the folder of program files(x86)/xbcd
There is the readme, the uninstall sheild, a picture of a controller that says XBCD When I hover over it, it says it's a modified Icon File, then there is one of those again that says XBCD360 and thats also a modified Icon File. Those are not the INF file are they??? then there is a internet shortcut icon in there.. So where is the other file that is the xbcd.sys that I'm supposed to add to my windows settings. I'm confused. if someone could help me out here. I'd really appreciate it.

thanks!

I have been trying for days to get my xbox controller to on my Vista 64 system and I finally got it. The first thing to do is download driver ready plus I am not exactly sure what it does but in know it let me install the xbcdv107 driver with no problems. Next you need to download and install the xbcdv107 driver and then reboot your computer it will go through a couple of screens before windows loads. It went so fast i couldn't tell what they said. Lastly plug in your controller and go to device manager and update driver for the controller. The instructions are the same on every site i have check so just follow them and it should work.
