| vista home premium 64 bit | hp touchsmart w/vista home premium 64 Trying to manually assign the com ports to clear a space for another device to use coms 1-4 but can’t find how to access them. I have done this on other computers for years and know how to do it, but on the hp touch smart there just doesn’t seem to be the same option to even see much less change the coms. What’s even weirder is that in the help function it tells you exactly how and where to find them but there not there. Hp tech support couldn’t help and I am pretty sure that there manager said that they manipulated the os for the touch screen and all its functions to work , so I’m wondering if they have hidden this feature or if it is not even accessible? Their tech couldn't answer that question and so he passed it up the command chain and i haven't heard anything back yet. |
