Re: driver for gigabyte-realtek lan

If there is a *.INF file, just select "update drive" in device manager, and go to the inf file.

Why do you want to change drivers?
The Realtek lan normally works pretty darned good, and it's also supported (optional updates - hardware) automatically by windows update.

Re: driver for gigabyte-realtek lan

Hello NjNiteHawk,

This is the same driver I use, and it should have a Setup file to install with when you open the extracted folder from the ZIP file. Are you downloading the "Auto installation program (support Vista 64 and Vista) (Submission ID:1308340)" file?

Re: driver for gigabyte-realtek lan

This may be obvious, but did you extract all of the files and folders to the Desktop from the ZIP file before trying to run the setup.exe file?

Re: driver for gigabyte-realtek lan

You might try 7-Zip as a test to see if it is.
