Can't find Bluetooth drivers

I have an Acer 5720 Vista 32 bit : because of BLue screen death, had to reinstall operating system , now the unit can not find the drivers for bluetooth . I attempted to use a dongle, which allows the laptop to find my devise ( Headphone ) , but the headphones Speaker/earpiece do not work , when trying to call using Voip /Skye etc the error message is bluetooth devise is ? malfunctioning . It seems that VISTA has many /many bugs, and this Bluetooth issue is one : I have removed the driver in devise manager , and reinstalled Acer supplied drivers , but can not find them / I have installed 3rd party Bluesoiel : and have same problems ? Anyone know how to fix this ?

Thanks for the link, but I had already attempted to download the drivers, the laptop does not recognize them . The issue is related to the reinstalation of the vista program . It seems that this is a Vista related problem requireing a fix ?

Most of the Vista issues have been resolved with Vista SP1. Bluesoiel and Dongle may have caused corruption, and as a result you may need to perform a restore to a point before you installed those, or you may need to reinstall Vista, download all updates and sp1.

Try this:

1. Connect to windows update- download/restart, then go back and keep repeating the process untill there are no more updates available for you.

2 If your bluetooth driver is not automatically installed through updates then go to device manager click the (network) adapter, If Bluesoiel or anything else is listed uninstall it. Go to (C) drive/program files and delete any dongle/Bluesoiel files, restart and try reinstallation.
note- if you see a exclamation on the bluetooth adapter, cick update driver software and let it search your computer/internet for the apropriate driver and/or navigate to the downloaded Aspire driver yourself.

3. If all this fails- type perfmon into search bar, click it, click continue, click reliability monitor and check the stability report.
