| vista usiness | Help please, not very good with computers I am not very good with computers and I appreciate any help on this. I updated my computer form windows vista home to windows vista business. My problem is that I put all my previous files in folder I created in another folder called erData. This folder is not showing in the D drive now, but it used to be there before the update. When I do a search I find my files, and it tells me that they are in the erData folder in the D drive, but when I go to the D drive nothing is there! Any thoughts? Thanks Aldissi |

| Windows 7 RC x64 Vista HP x86 | Re: Help please, not very good with computers Hello Aldissi, and welcome to the vista forums, ![]() You don't state exactly how you Upgraded to Vista Business but this looks like it is a permissions problem. If so you will need to alter security permissions on the folder to allow you to se it and your files, do a Search for the folder and when it is visible in the search pain follow the instructions in these tutorials to adjust things Take Ownership of file Folder permissions |
