| Vista Ultimate 32bit | HCF PCI modem doesn't start after boot I few months ago I installed the Generic HCF PCI modem after upgrading from XP to Vista. Installing of the (Conexant XP) driver (Version 212.171.026.000) was a peace of cake and the device works properly, I thought.. I discovered however that after booting my PC (Vista SP1) the modem doesn't start. After disable and enable again (via device manager) the modem device works properly for (incidental) send/receive faxes.. DriverGuide Toolkit reports that the device driver (year 2001) is up to date.... I think that the problem is Vista related, but is there a solution? |
