| Vista ultimate 32 bit | Nvidia display driver problem - black screen vista 32 I hope someone might have some advice for me here I cant seem to update my drivers past 175.16, i have tried all the later drivers and do a clean uninstall 1st with Driver Sweeper and CCleaner but when i restart my comp after installing the new drivers my display turns off after windows starts to boot up, just b4 i get to the user accounts log in screen. It then just sits there until finally a blue screen crash. I then have to go in to safe mode, uninstall the new drivers and put the old ones back on. I have tried burning the newer drivers and installing them from a disc directly through device manager but i have the same issue. It did, however, correctly install the newest beta drivers i found here (180.42) but when i tried to run either Warhammer Online or WoW it said it couldnt find a correct display driver or something. System Info which may be relevant (i am not all that computer literate) OS: Vista 32 SP1 Motherboard: NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI Motherboard Processor: AMD AthlonT 64 FX-62 Dual Core Processor Memory: 2GB DDR2 PC-6400 SDRAM at 800MHz - 2 x 1024MB Video Card: 1024MB NVIDIA® GeForceT 7950 GX2 Monitor: 19" Dell UltraSharp 1907FP Black Flat Panel LCD Monitor Have searched all over and havent really found a solution anywhere tho i have found others with the same or similiar problem, i hope someone can help |

| Vista Ultimate 32bit | Re: Nvidia display driver problem - black screen vista 32 Hey i had the exact same problem until i found the solution i dont know whats the deal with all the people trying to overcomlicate things. If you updated your nvidia card and get a blank screen the problem is most likely the same as mine because the new drivers put the default screen to the tv so just connect your card to the tv and put the default to your normal screen. |
